New Album Updates~ 25th St. Recording

I just got off the phone with 25th Street Recording and booked my first sessions for the new record in September!

I’m taking this moment to thank you. The excitement & surging sense of possibility I’m feeling right now would not be possible if you hadn’t said yes.

Yes, Adey. I believe in you. I want to hear more.

Those words are music to my ears…

It’s therapy, actually.

So when I put down the phone & allowed myself to receive the sensation of booking dates in an
EPIC, HIGH CLASS studio,
the first thing I thought of was you.

You rallied and said yes. You invested in me. You trusted me to do what I said I was gonna do.

And do it I shall…..

WHY 25TH STREET RECORDING STUDIO?

Spirit led me there! (ah, the sh*t new-age girls say…)
On recommendation of a friend I found myself being gifted a few hours to just play around.
(Hugest thanks to Steve Jarvis- you’re amazing, thank you.)

Their turn of the century Steinway 9 foot Grand is a dream. Rebuilt and impeccably cared for,
I sat down, played a few notes and immediately fell in love.
Butter. Dripping. From my heart. It’s that good…

The layout is clean and has a spacious feel all throughout the studio –
it feels like a very open portal in which to conjure.
I actually loved the smell of the room and upon entering, it was one of the first things I noticed.
(It’s the little things)

I liken it to asking a long-time married couple the question,
“How did you know they were the one?”

The answer, always being
“You just know.”

So- tally ho, here we go!
