About Adey Bell
Adey Bell is a mystical pianist, vocalist, and composer based in Asheville, North Carolina. Her rich, nimble, dusky mezzo-soprano voice fuses classical, pop, folk, blues, lounge, and jazz registers — earning critical comparisons to Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Sarah McLachlan, Joni Mitchell, and Carole King.
Five studio albums in over a 15-year independent career, she leads the ensemble Venus Exalted (Volume 1 in 2020, Volume 2 — Tribute to the Dearly Departed — in 2025). Her fifth full-length album Jezebel released on vinyl on Beltane 2026.
Beyond music, she scored and starred in The Last Avatar (Gaia TV), released Voice of Wind — a vocal sample library through Soundiron — and is the creator of Wishcraft, a sacred gathering format combining live music, ritual, and divination.
