Are you sick of your holiday music? I am.
It’s so sad that most people have no idea that they’re being programmed through their favorite artists. The onslaught of brainwashing via music is unfortunately very successful and powerful. Why?
From my weird and existential perspective, I see life through the lens of a co-dreaming experience. We’re all one Mind, having a personal trip in order to contribute what we’ve learned throughout our lifetime of emotional growth to the Cosmic DNA. Through that kaleidoscope, I think about things as if I were analyzing a dream.
In dream analysis, every character is a version of myself. Every person symbolizes a facet of me, serving as a reflection to bring something that my unconscious desires me to recall into my awareness. So in this context, there is no “out there”, there is no “they” pulling the strings of reality. You’re invited to embrace that concept for the sake of this ramble.
Our most wounded, disconnected, and unhealthy parts of ourselves have tried their best at co-opting the power of music to ensorcel us into a way to live, dance, and feel that serves a swampy vibration agenda. Is this to fill an endless void? To find a sense of power when we feel utterly helpless? To desperately accumulate attention (money) as a shield to feeling profound loneliness?
Probably all of the above and more.
Music is the highest form of magic. Music instantly lights up our brain, creating an electric bridge between the hemispheres.
Music has the power to bring people with advanced dementia and Alzheimer’s back to life! They dance, they sing, they remember. *
When I hear a piece of music I am utterly transported to the first time I heard it, enveloped in the synesthesia of everything that was occurring at that moment.
Fking Magic!
In my humble opinion (yes, I typed that out cuz I’m old)
There has been no decent American holiday music written since the 50’s.
Most of the “music” I hear when I’m out in the world during November and December is the lamest, putrid remakes of some actually good tunes, and pathetic attempts to write something new. It’s like the music version of reading a smut rag like US weekly. I feel dumber every moment that passes while non-consensually immersed in the soup of a vapid soul rot. My nervous system immediately cringes, my muscles start to tense up, it’s all I can do to get in and out as fast as possible.
So what’s the antidote?
Take responsibility for your experience. Instead of retreating to your earbuds and jamming to your tunes while shopping, (which I feel is kinda rude and an avoidance tactic that keeps you feeling even more lonely) I would suggest engaging with people and doing your best to ignore the silliness and THEN
Flooding your precious heart, ears and mind with GOOD MUSIC to scrub out the taste of stupid from your system.
